There is a huge number of various Telegram channels offering free Gold trading signals, but there is one that really attracts attention because of its activity level. The channel name is David's Gold Strategy, and even its statistics make the subscriber feel comfortable about joining. However, based on our 6-month backtest and analysis of their signal format, we can say that this is another scam channel, which uses a classic strategy to manipulate its performance.

Please do not be deceived by the high activity level or huge number of daily posts. We explain below why this channel is another tool to drain your trading account.
The Signal Format – A Traditional Manipulation Scheme
Here is a typical signal offered by this group:
📊 XAUUSD Sell zone 4555 - 4558
⭐️ Take Profit 1: 4549 (90 PIP)
⭐️ Take Profit 2: 4541 (170 PIP)
⭐️ Take Profit 3: 4531 (270 PIP)
⚠️ Stop Loss: 4563
Everything looks promising. But let us analyze this signal and see what's wrong with it.
Assumptions:
Open 1 position
Risk 1% of trading account
Stop loss is set at 80 PIPS; in case of stop-out - lose 1%.
Now, here's what the channel does to boost its statistics.
Take Profit 1 (90 pips):
The channel recommends closing half the position after TP1 is met
Real profit = +0.56% (90 pips of only half the position).
But the channel claims that it was *"90 pips"*, counting it as 90 pips of the entire position.
Take Profit 2 (170 pips):
Close another half when TP2 is met
Real profit = +0.53% (170 pips of half the position).
Again, the channel reports it as "170 pips".
And here is the outcome of this fraud scheme.
70% of profitable signals will be closed after the market hits TP1; hence, 70% of profitable setups will generate +0.56% per winning trade.
Given the extremely low 34% success rate, let us do some simple calculations.
34 winning signals × 0.56% = +19.04%
66 losing signals × (-1%) = -66%
Net result is -46.96%. It is enough to follow those signals during two weeks and blow your account.

Zero Transparency, Zero Accountability
This channel lacks a website, a blog, and social media accounts. Even more, it has no VIP subscription bot. But what makes it suspicious, it has not a single real person behind the channel (i.e., no real face, no name).
The fact that there is no education offered by this channel shows us once again that there is no trader there, but rather manipulative fraudsters.
Conclusion – Avoid!
This channel is not a real trader's channel; it is just a well-crafted manipulation scheme aimed to deceive traders. Using the trick described above (manipulating pips reporting and recommending closing a position halfway), this scam channel tries to mask its extremely bad performance.
Danger! This is a fraud free Gold signals channel applying a classic strategy to manipulate its performance.
