With over 43,000 subscribers, Gold Trader | Ionut looks like a prosperous community for gold scalpers. The owner shares himself, shares video messages and guarantees the provision of free daily signals. Yet, our backtesting for 6 months proves quite a different story. We've come across manipulated statistics, fake "broker certificates," and a 26% win rate that would guarantee losses eventually. Are you thinking about joining? Here is what you need to know.

What is Wrong With Their Statistics?
Over the last 6 months, we tested all the provided free forecasts. The result of testing showed that the average winning percentage is 26%. Scalping – especially gold – requires better statistics. This low win rate suggests losses no matter the risk/reward ratio.
Here is an example of the provided signals.
Gold buy 4675-4670
SL: 4665
TP: 4680
TP: 4685
TP: 4690
TP: 4695
TP:open
Later, after starting the trade, there were the following updates.
"Set be for zero risk now".
"Closing 30% of my entry’s and at tp2 ( 100 pips ) I will close half profit again".
In traditional forex trade, the most obvious issue with such signals would be a nominal pip gain. With an average size of 90-100 pips, one hopes to make up to 50 pips with TP 1 and 100 pips with TP 2.
Closing the trade on TP 1 and half TP 2, the average gain from successful trades doesn't cover the losses.
With only 26% of the total trades being profitable until final TP, the losses would be higher than gains.

The Fake Certificates Issue
This is another free gold signals channel that offers bad quality trades, lies regularly, and manipulates results.
The main "proof" of profitability and the experience of the channel's owner – Ionut – are the certificates from various brokers.
We tried contacting two such brokers to find out if they can confirm the validity of those certificates. Unsurprisingly, they failed to do so.
Thus, we have decided to check the performance of this channel ourselves.
Final Verdict: A Trust Scam
Gold Trader | Ionut is a scam trust channel. All the above issues combined make this community rather dangerous.
The use of fake certificates, screenshots of the running profits from MT4, and pip statistics reporting will be applied to manipulate your view on the channel.
0/10 TRUST SCORE
