The write-up here takes an in-depth look at the Telegram channel known as “SOOD INDICATOR LAYER.” This article aims to give an overview of its performance, its signal structure, and its level of transparency. The point here is to show that the Telegram channel has some red flags that are indicative of a scam to dupe unsuspecting traders.

Signal Verdict: A Sharp Look
The Telegram channel may have some activity with about eight posts on a daily basis; however, its core offering of free trading signals to its users is very poor. We have tested 80 free signals over the course of six months on this channel, and the results are alarming.
The average win rate for free signals on this channel stands at about 29%. This implies that out of every four signals sent out by this Telegram channel, three are bound to be losing trades.
Moreover, the structure of the signals sent out by the channel is also designed to dupe unsuspecting traders.
For instance, let us take a look at a typical structure of the signals sent out by this Telegram channel:
XAUUSD BUY NOW ❗️
@ 5019-5015
SL : 5001
TP1 : 5027
TP2 : 5030
Our analysis of the structure of the signals sent out by this Telegram channel shows that there is a deliberate attempt to influence the outcome of the trader’s trade:
Wide Entry Zones: Wide entry zones, as seen in the above image, are often used to manage profits and losses in a way that allows the scammer to say that the trade was successful if even a small portion of the zone was reached.
Unfavorable Risk/Reward Ratio: Like most other scam groups, the stop loss here is way higher compared to the TP targets. This trade would have a very negative Reward/Risk ratio.
False Recovery Storyline: Notice how some profitable updates for the signal are presented as if the price move to TP1 was a recovery from a losing signal? This is an attempt to create a false narrative of recovery, especially when backtesting shows that you would need at least four profitable signals just to recover a losing trade to reach TP1.

Final Verdict: Do Not Trust
The SOOD INDICATOR LAYER channel is a high-risk channel that I do not recommend to anyone looking to trade with a reliable Telegram channel. With a mere 29% win rate, flawed signals with negative risk/reward ratios, and a lack of face, name, or even fake subscribers, this channel is designed to ensure that you lose money as a follower, with the hope that you would then join the “premium group.”
