Technical Pips Telegram Channel Review: A Low-Trust Signal Provider With Questionable Results

Technical Pips has been running on Telegram since May 31, 2025, and has picked up nearly 58,000 subscribers. The channel posts a lot, often more than 20 times a day, and average views per post sit around 6,500, which suggests most subscribers are real people. That kind of activity looks good on paper. But after backtesting the channel's free signals over six months, we found problems with signal quality, transparency, and whether the signals can actually make money over time. This review lays out what traders should expect.

Content and Signal Format
Technical Pips sticks to gold (XAUUSD). The channel offers free signals, trade updates, and promotions for its paid premium channel. There is no free education. Nobody identifiable runs the channel either. No name, no history, no face.
On average, the channel posts 1-2 free signals a day, using a scalping style during the Asia and New York sessions. Every signal follows the same format. Here is an example of a free trade:
#XAUUSDĀ BUY 4170-4167
TP 4173
TP 4176
TP 4180
TP 4185
TP 4190
TP 4200
SL 4157
The signal has a 30-pip entry area, 6 take profit levels, and 1 stop loss. Every free signal is provided in such a format. 2-4 signals are provided daily.
Backtesting Results and Profitability Concerns
We backtested each free forecast for the last 6 months. Average winning rate is 42%. That number should stop anyone from copying these signals blindly.
The backtest turned up more detail. 84% of winning signals are closed after reaching TP1, TP2, or TP3. Only 1% of tested trades reached the final TP. Most "winners" are small gains, and the full profit potential of the signal structure almost never gets realized.
Risking 1% of a testing account per trade, I can expect 0.7% average profit from signals. With 42% accuracy, such profitability is not enough for growing an equity. In contrast, its net value will depreciate over time.
We suggest combining these signals with your own analysis and confirmations. That is the only way to improve its accuracy. If you are interested in blind signal copying, this group's results are not satisfactory.
Transparency and Trust Concerns
Several things keep Technical Pips in low-trust territory:
No identifiable person runs the channel. No real face, name, or history to hold anyone accountable.
No website or social media presence. Everything happens inside Telegram, which makes verification hard.
No free education. Subscribers get signals with no context or risk management guidance.
The free content exists partly to promote a paid premium channel. There is little advertising, but the goal looks like funneling subscribers into a paid service.
The take-profit structure is unrealistic. With 6 TP levels and only 1% of trades reaching the final TP, the format creates an illusion of high potential while most winners close early.
The math does not work. A 42% win rate with an average 0.7% return per trade cannot grow equity and will likely lead to account depreciation over time.
Conclusion
Technical Pips looks simple on the surface: gold signals, no advertisements, no fake promises. To its credit, the content stays clean and focused. But the 42% winning rate from our backtest is not enough for sustainable trading. The signal structure (6 TP levels, wide entry zone) means most winning trades close at TP1-TP3, only 1% reach the final target, and the average profit is just 0.7% per trade when risking 1%.
3/10 TRUST SCORE
Add the absence of a real person behind the channel, no website or social media presence, and no educational support, and Technical Pips earns a low-trust rating in this review. Use these signals only as one input alongside your own analysis and confirmations, not as a standalone service for blind copying.
